RapidWeaver 8 is Coming Soon.

Hello Fellow Weavers,

I know it's been a while since the last RapidWeaver 7 update, and there's a good reason for that… It's because we've been heads down working away on RapidWeaver 8, and oh boy is it shaping up to be a great release. As always it's taken us longer than we'd like to ship it to you guys, but quality software always takes longer to build than any of us would like!

We've also been working hard on making the upgrade seamless from RapidWeaver 7 to 8. It's got all the same features you know and love, but we've updated and improved so much of it. I really can't wait to show it to you.

RapidWeaver 8 is currently being (and has been for some time) privately tested by the third-party plugin and themes developers to ensure everything works flawlessly. We've specifically been working with Isaiah from YourHead Software to make sure there's even tighter integration between Stacks and RapidWeaver.

RapidWeaver 8 is due to ship later this summer, and it's going to be our most significant release yet, and that's saying something, considering RapidWeaver has been around for 14 years! We've done our best to incorporate as many feature requests from users and developers as we could, while not every request could make it (otherwise we'd never ship), there is a lot in there!

RapidWeaver 8 will be a paid upgrade, and I think all of our loyal users will be relieved to hear we won't be switching to a monthly or yearly subscription plan for the direct version. Buy it once from Realmac, and it's yours to keep forever.

If you'd like to stay in the loop about the launch plans for RapidWeaver 8, then make sure you're signed up to the Realmac Newsletter.

As we get closer to launch, I'll be doing a few more posts like this, to show off some of the great new features you can expect to see in RapidWeaver 8.

Happy Weaving,
Dan

Oh, and I also heard a rumour that the RapidWeaver Show might be making a return…
